Will be boring and no one will want to read it. when you write about something that interests you, you put more effort and feeling into your writing. you also feel a lot more passionate about the writing if you can relate to it and you wont have to put unecessary padding into it full of useless information. People will also be a lot more interested in your paper if they can see that the writer took their time and did not rush through a boring article. When you are happy with what you are writing about, you are bouund to write a good paper.
