#30 Organizational Templates are Helpful

Once you get your topic for a paper it is important to be organized. This organization can be achieved through an idea web. There are several different types of idea webs and organizers. There are templates that can help with organization and ideas.

There are organizational charts to help with putting events in the right order. For this timing organization, a clock chart can be used. There are also other organizers that can help put topics in order. Some of these include the ice-cream cone method, inverted triangle, or a ladder. These templates will all lead to a well-organized paper.

Before you can get started writing a paper, you must first come up with your sub topics and main points. This can be one of the most challenging portions of writing the paper. For this, a person may use a cluster/ word web or an idea rake. Both of these templates are meant to get the creative juices flowing. The more ideas you can get down on paper the more you will have to choose from. Having a lot of options and directions to go with a paper will help make it easier to write. It is easier to delete things out of a paper, than it is to put more words and ideas in.

Remember, templates are your friends. They can be helpful when it comes down to organizing and coming up with ideas for a paper.
