#68 Brainstorming

Brainstorming can be a great way to come up with lots of ideas on a specific topic or issues and then decide which idea or ideas is the best. Brainstorming for good ideas can be very difficult, and is something that I have struggled with in the past. This semester my composition instructor Mr. Neuendorf showed the class an interesting way of brainstorming. Ideas from the class were put on the board and circled with varies ideas branching out from those ideas, much like the picture above. According to an interesting article that I have found shows group brainstorming may be more effective at generating ideas, but studies have shown that when individual brainstorm their own they come up with more ideas and often better quality ones. It is an informative article and would be very helpful. by James Sanger
